Temporary apartment... Temporary problems

Last week we moved to the temporary apartment where we would live for a few months until our house is ready. The moving was nothing short of spectacular as we managed to do the moving, cleaning, putting all the stuff in place in less than a day. Now that we are starting to settle in the other apartment, some issues have started popping up.
For starters the kitchen exhaust was not working, then we realized that the lamp over the stove/oven was missing as well. When one rents a cheaper apartment they must be ready for these kind of issues as well.

But these things were easily fixed. Just one call and an email to the administrative department of the housing company and the next day it was all fixed. Non-working exhaust got replaced, missing lamps were installed, etc.
But then came the problem that we were not really ready for and actually never thought about. The previous apartment where we were living never had such a problem as there were not so many tenants per apartment building. So we never had a problem with the queue for washing the clothes.
As you know here in Sweden there is a queue for every thing and washing clothes is no different. Every apartment building has their own "tvättstuga" (aka laundry room) per building which is shared by all the tenants living in that apartment building. And each "tvättstuga" has its own "bokningstavla" (booking board) where one has to pre-book their date and time for washing their clothes.
Now when we were living in our previous apartment there was always time available for washing clothes as the number of tenants per building were very less. So each tenant would get at least 2 days per week to themselves for washing clothes. There was never a waiting needed to have your turn.
But now that has changed. The apartment building we have moved into now have so many tenants that one has to wait for at least 20 days before they get their turn for washing clothes.

This means 2 things, either we cut short on washing clothes and re-use the clothes as much as we can without making them dirty quickly, or we get our own washing machine and install it in the apartment.
After considering all the options, we decided to go for the latter, because there is no way in hell that we will manage to go 20 days without clean clothes, especially given that we have 2 small kids. This means we will have to first find a washing machine that can fit in the tiny bathroom of our apartment and also hire a plumber to get the fixings for the water pipe done. As we don't plan to live in this apartment for long, it is no point in investing in the washing machine. So we started searching for second hand, used washing machines that could fit in our bathroom.
But unfortunately, even the second hand washing machines that we found were too expensive for a short period of time. Luckily then we found a shop where such a washing machine was on sale and was available for a very low price. So we decided to go for it. Besides, after a few months of use we could sell it again to someone else as we could have the receipt and the machine would still be within the guarantee period.

Now we just need to find a plumber who can fix the water piping for the washing machine. I hope he does not charge too much.
